Private energy investment
Voxen Energy is a private investment company building positions in gas, LNG and energy infrastructure across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. We invest our own capital, take our time, and stay out of the headlines.
The energy system is being rebuilt around gas as the bridge fuel and the infrastructure that moves it. Our focus is the physical assets in that chain, and the businesses that operate them.
Supply, liquefaction, regasification and the offtake arrangements that underwrite them. The core of the mandate, and where the next two decades of demand sit.
Storage, terminals, pipelines and port-side assets. Long-life, contracted, and usually held for longer than the market expects.
Opportunities adjacent to the core: distressed positions, restructurings, and assets that need patient ownership rather than a quick exit.
The best energy assets are built and held quietly, by people who understand the counterparties as well as the numbers.
We are principals, not intermediaries. Voxen invests its own capital alongside partners who share that view, and we measure holding periods in years, not quarters.
Our relationships have been built over more than two decades. They run through Asia-Pacific, the Gulf and Australia, across governments, state-owned enterprises, family offices and operators. We work off-market wherever we can, because that is where the fair prices are.
We don't publish a pipeline and we don't announce transactions unless a counterparty wants us to. If that suits you, we should talk.
Where we operate
Three words that decide most of what we do, and everything we don't.
Discretion protects price, people and the deal itself. Value is created before anyone is watching.
Energy assets reward owners who can wait. We structure so that we never have to sell on someone else's clock.
We turn up. Deals in our markets are done across tables, not term sheets, and relationships carry further than leverage.
“Energy is bought in decades and reported in quarters. We take the longer side of that trade.
Twenty-plus years of deals across property, resources and international finance — from mineral off-take agreements with Chinese state-owned enterprises to hotels, terminals and restructurings — taught me something unfashionable: there is no substitute for knowing your counterparty, paying a fair price away from the crowd, and being able to hold.
Voxen is built to do exactly that in gas, LNG and the infrastructure around them. We don't announce our work. The people we deal with prefer it that way, and so do we.”
